Terms and conditions

1. Quotes

Prices shown on this website are indicative package prices for standard residential installations. Your written quote is the binding figure.

Quotes are valid for 7 days from issue. Solar equipment is imported and priced against the dollar, so exchange rate movement and supplier changes can shift our costs within days. After 7 days we will requote at current pricing.

2. What a package includes

Each package price covers the panels, inverter, lithium battery and professional installation described on the package. It does not cover house rewiring, changeover or distribution board upgrades, roof repairs, structural work, long cable runs beyond standard allowance, or civil works. Where any of these are needed we will quote them separately before starting.

3. Payment

Orders are confirmed once the agreed initial payment clears. Equipment remains the property of Sunlith Power Limited until paid for in full. We offer two payment routes, confirmed in writing in your quote:

Full payment — the full package price before commissioning. No additional charge.

Deferred balance — 70% to confirm the order, with the remaining 30% spread over three monthly instalments. A fee of 5% per month is charged on the original outstanding balance, not on the reducing balance, giving a total fee of 15% over the three months. The monthly instalment and the total payable are stated in your quote in naira before you commit.

Where a deferred balance is agreed, the system remains our property until the final instalment clears. Missed instalments may pause after-sales service until the account is brought current.

4. Installation

We will agree an installation date with you once equipment is confirmed in stock. You are responsible for providing safe access to the property, roof and electrical points on the day. Installation timelines are estimates and may shift for weather, access or supply reasons.

5. Backup hours

Backup hours quoted for each package are estimates based on typical household load for that system size. Actual runtime depends on what you run, how many appliances are on at once, and available sunlight. We will size your system against your stated load during the free evaluation.

6. Warranty

Batteries carry a five-year warranty from Sunlith. The complete system carries one year of free after-sales service from the commissioning date. Panels and inverters carry the manufacturer's own warranty, which we pass on to you. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorised modification, lightning, flooding, fire, theft, or work carried out on the system by anyone other than Sunlith.

7. After-sales

During the free service year we will attend to system faults at no labour cost. Replacement parts outside warranty are chargeable. After the first year, service visits are chargeable at our standard rate.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel before equipment is dispatched, subject to any restocking or procurement costs already incurred. Once installation has begun, cancellation is by agreement and the work completed is chargeable.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the contract. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of business, spoiled goods or data loss arising from a system fault or grid failure.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes fall to the courts of Lagos State.
