Sunlith Power Limited ("Sunlith", "we", "us") operates sunlithpower.com. This policy explains what we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you submit the quote form we collect your name, phone number, a note of what you need to power, and the package you are interested in. We also record which part of the site you started from. If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email instead, we hold whatever you send us in that message.
We do not run advertising trackers or build marketing profiles about you.
Website analytics and session recording
We use two analytics tools to understand how visitors use this site so we can improve it:
- Google Analytics records anonymous usage data — pages viewed, time on page, approximate location by city, device type, and which actions were taken, such as using the savings calculator or opening WhatsApp. It sets cookies to recognise a returning browser.
- Microsoft Clarity records anonymised session replays — mouse movement, scrolling and clicks — along with heatmaps showing which parts of a page get attention. Text you type into the quote form, including your name and phone number, is masked and is not visible in these recordings.
Neither tool is used for advertising, retargeting or profiling. Both process data on servers outside Nigeria, under their own privacy terms: Google and Microsoft.
You can opt out of Google Analytics with the official browser add-on, or block both tools using your browser’s privacy settings or any standard content blocker. Blocking them does not affect how the site works.
Why we collect it
- To size a solar system for your property and prepare your quote.
- To contact you about that quote and follow up on it.
- To arrange installation, delivery and after-sales service.
- To keep records we are required to keep as a registered business.
We will not sell your details, rent them, or pass them to anyone for marketing.
Who can see it
Only Sunlith staff working on your quote or installation. Your submission is stored in a secure cloud database with access restricted to our team, and an alert is sent to us by email through our website host. Both providers operate servers outside Nigeria and process the data only on our instructions. We share information with third parties only where it is needed to deliver your order — for example a logistics partner handling delivery — or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to five years, which matches the warranty period on our battery systems, so that we can support what we installed. You can ask us to delete your record sooner.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email quotes@sunlithpower.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Third-party embeds
Our homepage embeds a Google Map showing our office. Google may set cookies when that map loads, under its own privacy terms. The WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp, which is governed by Meta's privacy policy.
